Hot Chipped Beef Dip

 

Ingredients

1 cup pecans

6 tbsp butter

1 tsp salt (optional)

2 8 oz packages cream cheese, room temperature

2 ¼ ounce chipped beef, chopped.

1 tsp garlic salt

Pinch pepper

1 cup sour cream

2 small onions, chopped.

½ cup chopped green onions

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Toast pecans with 4 Tbsp butter and salt until nuts are browned and butter is sizzling. Set aside.

Chop onions.

Sauté onion and green onion in 2 Tbsp of butter until onions are opaque. Take off heat.

In a medium bowl, combine the chopped beef with the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic salt, and pepper.

Combine sauteed onion mixture and chopped beef mixture and stir well to combine. Pour into a baking dish. Arrange browned pecans on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
